For the gentlemen - how to buy perfectly fitting lingerie for your loved one.

There’s so many great occasions to gift your woman a beautiful set of lingerie. Birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, Woman’s Day… not to mention the fact that we love being given gifts for no reason at all :)

 

But we know that for a man, buying lingerie might be a little intimidating. There’s so many fabrics, colours, shapes and sizes that sometimes it might be hard to decide on what to buy. Here’s some advice to make it a little easier on you.

First of all, do some research. 

Pay special attention to what does she wear most often. Does she prefer soft bras, push ups, or the ones with straps? Lace or mesh? Briefs or thongs? Or maybe high rise panties?

Of course, you can also get her something that she doesn’t put on very often, but you’d like to see her in. As a woman, I’ll tell you that it’s a great way of letting us know what you like. We love those kinds of hints, and maybe next time she will be the one to surprise you.

Bra size.

That is by far the biggest challenge. After all, even women often aren’t quite sure which one is the right one, so why would you? Let’s start by explaining what all the symbology is about. The number, e.g 40 or 45 stands for the band size, or chest circumference. The letter, e.g B,C or D is the cup size. For example, if the bust circumference is 51 inches and chest circumference is 46 inches, the proper size would be 46DD. 

Search for help in her drawer. Find her favourite bra and see what size it is. If she likes to wear it so often, then it must be comfortable for her. If it’s made by the same producer as the one you’re looking to buy from, that’s great. If not, compare the size charts of both. They often differ, so it’s better to be extra careful. 

Some bras or bralettes come in usual sizes, S, M, L and so on. That makes it easier. Just look into her wardrobe and find out what size top she wears, then pick a matching bra.

Better yet, if you know her friends or sisters, ask them. They will surely know, after all they shop with her all the time. If not, they won’t mind asking for you, discreetly of course. That always works.
